A Sampling of Our Activities & Events

We truly want you to enjoy all that "Pumpkins on the Pier" will offer and want to give you a taste of what the event will be like. There is truly something for every member of the family no matter their age or interests.

We also want you to be able to plan ahead. That is why whenever possible we have included our anticipated prices. While all funds raised support the non-profit Milford Boys & Girls Club, we have made every effort to make Pumpkins on the Pier as affordable as possible.

Special Guest Al deCant Back by Popular Demand

One of Connecticut's foremost family entertainers will perform at 2:00 PM - Pavilion area stage. Singer, song writer and educator, Al will have the younger set engaged and parents entralled! Simply put it is guaranteed to be "one heck of a good time".

	The Pumpkin Patch Pick the perfect pumpkin from the freshest New England grown pumpkins, ranging from small to huge and priced from $6.00 to $12.00 depending on size, complete with free LED tea light when entered in the decorating or carving contests! Pre-order under our "Buy Pumpkins" tab and save!
	The Pumpkin Pavilion Once you have chosen that perfect pumpkin, decorate it for free with tons of crafts supplies or carve with your parents, we will provide the tools.
	Pumpkin Pier - Promenade Register for free your pumpkin creation and place on the pier to be part of the evening pumpkin spectacular. You'll be eligible to win great prizes and recieve a free LED tea light.
	All Aboard the Tractor Hay Ride Climb aboard the hay wagon and ride along Walnut Beach Park. Rides are only $2.00 and children under 2 are free with a paying adult.
	Play A Round At "Pumpkin Beach" Well it may not be "Pebble Beach" but neither are the greens fees! For $2.00 enjoy a round of 9 holes at the " Pumpkin Beach Miniature Golf Course".
	The Kid's Pumpkin Playland Old fashion games and activities abound in the Pumpkin Playland from a hay maze for toddlers to face painting. Every child is a winner. All games and activities are 50 cents (1 ticket) to $2.00 (4 tickets). Discount tickets can be purchased, 12 for $5.00 or 25 for $10.

	Horse & Buggy Ride Step back in time and treat the family to a carriage ride along the new Walnut Beach - Silver Sands Board Walk.
	The Harvest Food Booth Have you worked up an appetite yet? Well the Boys & Girls Club will be dishing it out ... all day and all evening with a smorgasbord of harvest foods. From apple cider to pumpkin pie, from overstuffed turkey sandwiches to hot soups, no menu item will be more than $6.00 and many will be a buck!
	Pumpkin Main Stage The Pumpkin Main Stage is non-stop throughout the day featuring children's entertainers, contests, costume parade, square dancing and more. Check out our event schedule to be published Sept. 2012.
	Giant Pumpkin Auction Always wanted to have a 100 pound plus pumpkin? Here's your chance...bid away at the Giant Pumpkin Auction on the Main Stage mid-afternoon.
	On-Site Information Everything you need to know about the festival and contest forms can be found in the information booth adjacent to the pavilion. Also first aid and lost & found.
